Women on Wings celebrates the 333,400 rural Indian women who found jobs over 16 years of existence. Their stories show resilience and bravery despite challenges. They juggle unpaid caregiving to family, chores, and now additional work with income, often convincing their families to let them do it. In doing so they gain money, agency in household decision making and move their families to a better future. On International Women's Day, we honor their achievements.
