Women on Wings is collaborating with Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) on its women entrepreneurship program that will generate a substantial number of extra jobs for rural women. To make this program successful, we are looking for a highly motivated account manager who will work with MAVIM in Mumbai. The account manager will become part of Women on Wings’ core team and be based in Mumbai.
The account manager is the linking pin between the MAVIM team and Women on Wings and manages the program’s aim to build MAVIM’s Tejaswini brand, so more products will be sold and extra jobs for women can be generated. The Tejaswini brand is an existing initiative of MAVIM and is the umbrella name under which a variety of products are sold that are being made by women in rural Maharashtra. By empowering a woman with a job and thus an income, better options for her family can happen.
What the account manager should be
A result-driven, pro-active team player with at least 7 years of professional experience who can switch between corporate and government cultures. Someone who can be responsible for strategy development in close cooperation with the MAVIM team, volunteer business experts and Women on Wings’ Director of Women Entrepreneurship.
