Looms of Ladakh is a rural women's co-operative movement to establish textile cottage industry of Ladakh. It was conceived as a farm to fashion initiative, committed to extend due recognition to the pashmina, yak & sheepwool rearing communities and artisans. The co-op. encourages women empowerment by helping unemployed women to develop skills in making organic products to sustain themselves financially.
