In 2018 small and marginal women farmers in Mariyapuram, in the Western Ghats came together to form HOWFFA. Run by a 7 women members Board led by Sheena, its President. Annual production of coffee is 86MT. Farmers engage in multi crop agriculture include spices and cocoa.
