SHPL is a farmer led organisation, involved in producing pesticide free food products. It is associated with over 1 Lakh farmers from across 11 states in India. The Vision of SHPL is: 1) To boost the NPM movement at grassroots and accelerate farmers’ switch to sustainable agriculture by creating a market for their ‘pesticide-free’ produce. 2) To offer urban consumers a safe, credible and affordable alternative to food produced through conventional, input intensive agriculture.
